New Fundraising Campaign
From a cousin and a sister, Chantel Pham:
I’m writing this one day before my cousin’s, Quynh Pham’s, memorial day. Quynh passed away right before finishing nursing school on April 1st, 2012 and the co-director of Peter’s Clinic, Tom Booker, just launched this fundraising effort online right before her anniversary. For those of you who do not know, Quynh was a board member of Peter’s Clinic up to the day of her passing.
Since both Quynh and Peter wanted to help people, I think that it makes sense to honor them both through continuing their work through this non-profit.
I believe God can use something seemingly bad for us, for good, and He gives us the ability to choose to see it whichever way we want to. If you haven’t used your charity budget for the month, can spare a nice dinner or new pair of shoes, and/or would just like to help, please join me in honoring these two good people’s memories and donate:
“14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? 17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” James 2:14-17 ESV
